Gastric pathology is mainly represented by chronic gastritis associated with Helicobacter pylori, which plays an important role in pathogenesis of chronic peptic ulcer and gastric carcinoma.
Inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn disease and Ulcerative colitis), benign (adenomas) and malignant (adenocarcinomas) tumors are the most frequent pathological entities of the colon and rectum.
